DEADLINES. Please check the term(s) for which you are requesting this scholarship* Fall: Nov 27, 2015 (For outstanding tuition balance, textbooks & 3rd 5-week session classes) Spring: Jan 08, 2016 (Up to full tuition & textbooks) Summer: May 20, 2016 (Up to full tuition & textbooks for sessions A & C) Fall 3rd 5-week session classes start on Nov 5. Spring starts Jan 19. Summer A & C start May 31. You first must enroll in your courses; then PCCF will pay for your credits and you could receive up to $50.00 for textbooks per credit hour, provided funds are available. Remember, being admitted is not the same as being enrolled.
YOU MUST SUBMIT THIS E-FORM (NO COPY OR SCAN) WITH THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS: (To avoid losing data, save the form to your computer before filling it out. No incomplete applications will be considered). All documents must be sent as separate attachements in ONE email. 1. SCANNED ID card or document (Cell phone or iPad photos are not acceptable) E.g.: Driver’s license, DACA, matrícula consular, green card. Other documents may be acceptable.
2. SCANNED PCC unofficial transcripts showing most recent GPA. Transcripts from high school will be acceptable if you are not yet a PCC student.
3. JPEG photo with descriptive title of you doing some form of service to others. E.g.: Church activities, school mentoring, care of the environment, work for community organizations, helping seniors/the hungry/homeless/those with special needs, etc.
4. A ONE-PAGE narrative (500-750 words) in MS Word format of why this scholarship is important for you, your financial need, and how your cultural heritage will help you succeed. You may use single space and a font that is no smaller than size 10. English or Spanish.

*NOTE: You may request support for all three terms, but you must show a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the semester immediately preceding each term awarded. Scholarships are funded with resources from the Institute for Mexicans Abroad (IME) and Juntos Podemos/Together We Can to benefit Americans of Mexican origin and Mexican immigrants with financial need. Current PCCF scholarship recipients still qualify for supplemental funding. By submitting this application, student certifies that the information provided is true and complete and authorizes the release of application materials and academic information to PCC Foundation, the scholarship committees, and the funders.
