Marysville Fire District is dedicated to providing quality emergency response and prevention services to the community with integrity, pride and professionalism. The Marysville Fire District was formed in 1992 as the result of a contractual agreement between the City of Marysville and Snohomish County Fire District 12 as a means of reducing duplication of efforts and expanding services to the community. Our organization once again expanded in 1998 to include the consolidation of Snohomish County Fire District 20 into Fire District 12. In 2002, Fire District 20 formally merged into Fire District 12. Our Fire District protects approximately 55 square miles including the City of Marysville, Seven Lakes, Quil Ceda Village, the East side of Tulalip Indian Reservation, as well as a diverse expanse of unincorporated Snohomish County. The population of the Marysville Fire District is estimated to be over 71,000 residents. Approximately 58,000 citizens live in the City of Marysville, 13,000 in unincorporated areas of Fire District 12.
