Spotlight Topics: The Colorado Dept of Public Health & Environment and many local health centers offer services for Colorado residents newly and previously diagnosed with HIV. These services, known as Linkage to Care services, can help HIV positive Coloradans find out which services and financial assistance is available to them, whether they are insured or not. Linkage to Care coordinators can help find out if HIV positive residents are eligible for the Colorado Indigent Care Program, the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP), Connect for Health Colorado, or other programs. They also help them get into the care they need by connecting to them to local services and community organizations that will best fit their needs. For Linkage to Care information and locations visit ColoradoLTC.org, or call the CDPHE’s Linkage to Care Coordinator Maria Chaidez at (303) 692-2734 Please provide feedback and topics/spotlights you would like to see for future issues STI/HIV Data specific Email:
