Jay brings many talents and has been selected to be our bookkeeper; Jay taught financial software classes at a technical college in the Milwaukee area. Doing so reduces allergens, dust, and dander that is in the air. Furnace filters are available at your local hardware store and should be replaced every 3 months.

• N.E.W. removed the junipers at the westside entrance and replaced tree between 2531 and 2539. Dier and Spence to walk the property with Greg Binsfeld, N.E.W., on October 4, 10:00 AM. Roofing Project 2013: • 2543-J (Bergeon) reported gutter overflow. Lee will contact contractor to install additional downspouts at 2543-I (Hodgson) and on backside of building 2567. Roof vents were installed where none existed at a cost to the Association of an estimated $8,000. FHA Certification Update: Notification received that documents have been received by FHA in Denver 9/19/13. 2571-E (Rupiper): Spence to call Attorney Mike Demerath and ask him to contact US Bank attorneys to inquire about change of ownership paperwork. Website/Email: Pending. Don’t use the MBCA old web address on documents. Painting: Estimate received from AA Painting, Andy Allard, for garage doors, supporting posts and storage shed. Allard will be onsite to evaluate at all painting concerns. Board decision pending Allard’s onsite visit. Driveway Signage: Tabled until spring 2014. Sidewalk Replacement/Repair and East Side Driveway Apron—Spence has received no response from contractor who has done concrete work for MBCA in the past. Lee will look on Angie’s List for a new contractor. Board Appointments: Zelenski motioned; Lee seconded to appoint Jay Blazek and Jackie Poels to complete two terms that end January 2014. Board approved 4-1. Dier will contact Poels regarding appointment. Election—There are 4-two-year terms and 1-one-year term up for election. The notification of interest to run for a board position will be distributed to all owners on November 1, 2013. Sprinkler Inspection: • 2547-E (McKenna) reported a sprinkler head leak. Lee has contracted ReekeMarold to repair on 9/27/13. Lee will arrange inspection for 2543 and 2535. (Continued on page 5)
