The 24 hour classroom! Learning English theory and putting it into practice simultaneously is the objective of this intensive, but not unpleasant, programme! Hosted by a warm and welcoming Irish family, who they will have chosen themselves, and whose daily life they will share, they will be given tailor-made private lessons by their teacher, who is also a member of the family. In this way they will be able to practice the language and progress throughout their stay with complete confidence, immersed in the sounds that will quickly become familiar. LEISURE ACTIVITIES WITH YOUR HOST FAMILY
2 full days and 2 half days of cultural, fun or sports activities per week are organized by the host family.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
• Level of English : A1/A2 • Student must be motivated, communicative and independent • Student will live the family life and as his/her life in their country, he/she will need to do things by himself/herself (reading, walking, watching TV...) • Arrival on Sunday, departure on Saturday
TRANSPORT
• Not included, should be arranged by the student. SILC can organize the travel, please contact us • Transfers not included, should be arranged by the student from the airport/station of arrival to the host family. SILC can arrange the transfers, please contact us
Tuition
• 10 or 15 lessons of personalised individual tuition per week taught by a qualified teacher, member of the family. Evaluation test on first day. Certificate of completion.
Accommodation
• Full board accommodation. The room can be shared with a foreign student or a child of the family. We won’t place students of a same nationality in the same family.
Locations
