Principal’s Message Hello Eaton Families, At the end of last week’s PTO Coffee with the Principal a question came up about how parents can support the development of their child’s leadership skills at home. It was a great question and here are 3 classroom activities you can try at home! My best, Mr. Barocio
STUDENT ABSENCE FOR RELIGIOUS HOLIDAYS Student absence for religious instruction or participation in religious exercises may be considered excused. In order to be excused for a religious exercise or holiday, advanced written request by the parent/guardian must be submitted to the school site. Failure to provide the advanced written request will result in your child receiving an unexcused absence.
DOCTOR AND DENTIST APPOINTMENTS The state of California allows medical/dental appointments as excused absences. Eaton’s policy requires that these appointments must have a medical note from the doctor/dentist when the student returns to school. Please try to make after-school or Saturday appointments.
EATON’S HALLOWEEN PARADE Join us for Eaton’s Annual Halloween Parade on Monday, October 31st at 1:30 p.m. on the school blacktop area. Students need to bring their costume in a bag clearly labeled with the child’s name and room number. They will change into their costumes after lunch and the parade starts promptly at 1:30 p.m. Costumes should be comfortable, appropriate for school, provide good visibility and be easy for your child to remove. Costumes should also be nonviolent in nature and comply with our Zero-tolerance policy.
