Useful for parents that arrive early or have a second child no in swim lesson Bi-lingual signage/pictograms Windows in pool area but with glare/shade control Welcoming pool for families i. 0” – 12” – 3’ -> this can be hard to guard though, and difficult to establish swim lesion boundaries Tot Dock i. Need a deeper area for instructors ii. Could do permanent wide perimeter step, length of pool iii. ~24”-30” deep @ step iv. Will be hosting a significant number of games i. ~100-200 people ii. 4x year for water polo iii. 4-5/year for swim meets e. Pool length with warm up area i. larger than 25 yards needed ii. Or, warm up in rec pool w/ lanes Don’t want to have to close down rec area for meets, so warm-up should be in same area f. Team locker rooms off deck i. Lockers w/changing rooms, no showers ii.
