In the next week, you will be receiving an envelope with four pamphlets showcasing our school. Please take some time to distribute these to your friends, family, and colleagues. The best way to continue to grow our amazing Core Knowledge Academy is through our parents. Thank you! In case you haven't heard, I am retiring at the end of this school year. It has been a wonderful ten years at Cather and I have enjoyed every minute of it! I am ready for new adventures in my life and spending more time with my family. My replacement should be named in January. I will keep you posted. Our first day of break is Thursday, Dec. 22 and we will be back on Thursday, Jan 5th. Report cards will be coming home Friday, Jan. 13th. Thank you for sharing your children with us, it has been an amazing first semester and I know the next semester will go well. The next PTO meeting will be February 7th at 2:30! Grab bags sales were another great success yesterday!

Medication reminder for students attending Cather Elementary. All medication must be transported to school by an adult and permission card signed for us to be able to administer medication.

Also, your child IS allowed/encouraged to bring Chap Stick or lip balm to school. The children are encouraged to keep in backpack or tote tray, and have it not become a distraction.
